Born in Sydney, 1943, PAMELA GRIFFITH is a painter,
printmaker, writer and teacher.
 
  
1961-64 National Art School and the Sydney Teachers College, graduated with Art IV prize

Taught in secondary schools, technical colleges, colleges of advanced education, for the Arts Council of NSW, and for the Department of Education Inservice Training Program and the Art Teachers Association. Now performs as guest lecturer and after-dinner speaker on art-related issues

1972-73 Fourteen months experience in Europe including visits to printing workshops in England, Germany, Israel. Eight weeks 1981-82. Study tour in Europe. Periodic visits overseas including invitation to the Maritime Museum, Paris, 1987.
 
Established the Griffith Studio and Graphic Workshop in 1974;
Co-designed etching and lithographic presses, aquatint box and heaters for Australian production under HILLDAV brand;
Employs graduate artists to print established artists' work;
Recipient of the Rotary International Vocational Service Award and the Marrickville Council Bicentennial Medal.

Has had exhibitions regularly at the Barry Stern galleries since 1981. Retrospective exhibition of Pamela Griffith's prints, Gates Gallery, Neutral Bay, 1985.
