Born Sydney, 1946
 
1962-66 - Studied at East Sydney Technical College gaining Diploma in Painting.
Studied Etching with Earle Backen; painting and drawing with Dorothy Thornhill, Tom Thompson, David Strachan, John Coburn, Bill Salmon, Cam Bannerman, Harold Abbott, Arthur Freeman, Lyndsay Churchland, Les Burcher, Bert Flugelman.
 
1966-67 - Toured Asia for seven months working as a puppeteer with Peter Scriven and the Marionette Theatre of Australia.
1967 - Began teaching art at secondary school art. Moved to Newcastle.
 
1968 - Appointed to staff of National Art School, Newcastle.
 
1969 - Europe to further private studies and returned to Australia in 1970.
 
1971 - Resumed teaching at Art School, Newcastle Technical College. Won open prize for painting, Raymond Terrace Art Show.
 
1972 - Eight-week tour of Holland. After return formed Newcastle Marionette Theatre and now performs with the company during vacation periods.
1979 - Held exhibition of 20 etchings at Morpeth Gallery.
 
1980 - Solo exhibition of paintings, drawings and etchings at Morpeth Gallery. Group exhibition of Newcastle Printmakers at Tynte Gallery, Adelaide. Commission to produce edition of etchings for Newcastle Region Art Gallery Society.
 
1980-81 - Six-week study tour of Japan.
 
1982 - Solo exhibition of paintings, drawings and etchings at Morpeth Gallery. Appointed Head teacher, School of Art and Design, Gymea Technical College.
1983 - Exhibition of etchings at Tynte Gallery, Adelaide. Exhibition of paintings, drawings and etchings at Christopher Alexander Gallery, Wentworth Falls. Group exhibition at Morpeth Gallery.
 
1983-84 - Six-week study tour of Japan.
 
1985 - Solo exhibition of paintings, drawings, etchings and lithographs at Morpeth Gallery.
1986 - Senior Head Teacher, School of Art and Design, Wollongong West TAFE College.
 
1987 - Senior Head Teacher, School of Art and Design, Hamilton TAFE College, Hamilton. The Art of the Puppet exhibition, Maitland City Art Gallery. Group exhibition, 'Lecturing Staff School of Art and Design, Hamilton TAFE College', Maitland City Art Gallery. Group exhibition, Morpeth Gallery. Commissioned to design sets for a joint Hunter Orchestra/Australian Opera production of Puccini's La Boheme performed in December at Newcastle's Civic Theatre. Group exhibition Directors' Choice, Maitland City Art Gallery.
 
1988 - Solo exhibition of paintings, drawings, etchings and sculpture at Morpeth Gallery.
 
1989 - Group exhibition Breewood Galleries, Katoomba. Group exhibition Morpeth Gallery.
