Artist Statement
Pere Lachaise Series
While I was living in Paris I could see “Pere Lachaise”
from our Kitchen window.
I used the “Pere Lachaise” Theme to continue
on my Elegy series
In 1993 many people hadn't heard of Global
Warming
but today the urgency of Climate Change is with us
on a daily basis.
Some of the paintings in this series are named
after people that lived in Paris at some
time or another and that have inspired me. |
