Artist's statement:
Included in this exhibition is a new series called "Light". I have tried to create a very translucent effect, somewhat similar to light shining through coloured glass.

I continue to work on texture, particularly in images where a beach or ocean is represented. Overlapping colours create the illusion of depth and the shimmering effect light has on water.

The subjects are inspired from memories of travels.
