Studied National Art School, traveled USA, Europe & Middle East 1967 winner of the Sulman Prize AGNSW, the youngest winner of the competition, represented most State Galleries. Represented in the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Was for many years a trustee of the AGNSW. Has made several inland Australian trips with noted writers, photographers, environmentalist etc. He is regarded as one of Australia's foremost artist.
